We are excited to announce that St. Peterβs School has officially joined the Global Schools Program, an initiative of the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN). A Stitch in Time: The St. Peterβs School Quilt
This fall, SPS received a remarkable gift: a hand-sewn quilt created in 1978 by a dedicated group of St. Peterβs families and friends. Each panel tells a story, celebrating iconic Philadelphia landmarks and life at SPS. From Pennβs Landing to the Italian Market, the quilt captures the vibrant spirit of our city and school community.
Echoes of the Season: Holiday Classics from St. Peterβs Choir School
This holiday season, weβre delighted to share a special piece of St. Peterβs School history. While exploring our archives, we uncovered vintage vinyl recordings of the St. Peterβs Choir School performing beloved holiday classics, including O Come, All Ye Faithful, Silent Night, Hark! The Herald Angels Sing, and O Little Town of Bethlehem.

Play, Learn, Grow: Celebrating the New SPS Playground
Play has always been an essential component of a St. Peterβs School education, and each day, our playground is filled with joyful children. The recent renovation to the playground space has been a big success, and we are thrilled to see our students, new and returning, young and old, out playing and enjoying the benefits of the new structures and the improved space.

Welcome back to another year at St. Peter's. We hope you enjoyed our Welcome Back Fair on Tuesday and are eager to get the year started. We are excited to introduce our new students and their families to our community and to say hello to all of our returning families as well. This year's theme is Character, and we look forward to discussing ways our students can demonstrate good character and become their best selves.
