Guest Chefs

On Monday, May 17th, the Lower School teachers, along with Mr. Costello, provided and served a dinner for the families staying at the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House. The House provides a home away from home for families of critically ill children receiving treatment at local hospitals. These families do not have the extra time, resources, or energy to prepare or purchase meals while caring for children. Coming home after an exhausting day at the hospital to baked ziti, meatballs, garlic bread, salad, and homemade brownies (baked by the class parents) was a huge gift for these families. We were so happy to be able to make a difference!
