Greek Tragedies Presented by Fifth Grade
The Fifth Grade wrote and performed three one act plays this spring as part of their studies of ancient civilizations. The entire class took part in this traditional literary project. The plays were based on the tales of The Wooden Horse, Scylla and Charybdis, and the Death of the Suitors. The actors and actresses created their own costumes, organized the props, and delivered a wonderful show to the rest of the school and their parents in the Alumni Theater. Thanks to Mr. Stewart for lending his art teacher skills with the Trojan Horse. Special thanks go to Mrs. Patel for her guidance and the students’ parents who helped with the props and costumes.
