500 Books Donated to a Great Cause

This holiday season the Sixth Grade led a book drive to benefit the Child Abuse Research Education and Service (CARES). CARES’ mission is helping children and families heal from abuse, neglect and violence with evidence-based services, training, research and system collaboration. We took part in their Reach Out and Read program and collected in excess of 500 books for the cause.  Special thanks to Mr. Bowman for helping the Sixth Grader’s lead the effort.
