Lower School Visits National Liberty Museum
October 3rd, 2012
Our Lower School students walked to the National Liberty Museum, which is dedicated to preserving freedom and democracy by fostering good character and understanding for all people through education. Children discussed conflict resolution, diversity, liberty, pride in oneself and respect for others, and the important fact that everybody has the power to be a hero and make a difference. We all enjoyed seeing the stunning glass art featured at the museum, representing both the beauty and fragility of freedom.
