Lower School raises money for UNICEF
November 15th, 2012
The Lower School collected donations for UNICEF while trick-or-treating on Halloween. The Fourth Grades worked together sorting all the bills and coins and estimated the total amount in math class. Later, the Fourth Grade walked to TD Bank, where they used the Penny Arcade to officially count the coins. The students gave the coins and dollar bills to the bank teller and received a check for $575.07! The money will help UNICEF provide health care and education for children in 190 countries! Thank you to all who participated – you have helped to save the lives of children.
