Good Deed-Stuff and Hug
April 28th, 2009
Chloe Haines, First Grader, led her classmates in a project to make stuffed animals for hospitalized children. Chloe and her mom cut felt shapes, stuffed them, and sewed them together. Then they brought the animals to school to be decorated by First and Second Grade students. Chloe named the project “Stuff-and-Hug” with the motto, “We stuff it, you hug it!” She hopes the animals will bring happiness to children who are in the hospital. Chloe plans to continue the Stuff-and-Hug project for the rest of her life! The 51 animals that were completed on April 28th will be delivered to Jefferson Hospital and St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children.
