Good Deed – Making the Holidays Bright
December 1st, 2009
Mrs. Seltzer. Early Childhood Division Director, her husband, and her mother went to the mall after Thanksgiving. Instead of buying presents for their own family, they filled their shopping bags with clothes, toys, and other necessities for the family of six that they adopted through Turning Points for Children. Turing Points is the new identity of the recently merged non-profit organizations, Children’s Aid Society of Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Society for Services to Children. Mrs. Seltzer and her family thoroughly enjoyed purchasing all the things that their adopted family wished for, knowing that they will make this family’s Christmas a happy, merry one. If you would like to adopt a family or otherwise contribute to Turning Points for Children, visit their website at www.turningpointsforchildren.org.
