Good Deed- #100! Planting Trees in Our Watershed
October 13th, 2009
Mr. Weymouth and his family took part in a tree planting adventure along the shores of a small creek in the Laurels Preserve near Unionville, PA. This creek leads to the Brandywine River then out to the mighty Delaware River. Along with many other energetic members of the Young Friends of the Brandywine, the Weymouths planted many different local tree species in an effort to stabilize the ground and provide a great environment for other flora and fauna that will move into the neighborhood. Pictured are Mr. Weymouth and his son Jack who was trying to escape to plant more trees!
