Good Deed: Amazing Student Teacher
March 12th, 2009
Eighth Grader Natalie Fox volunteered at the J. Hampton Moore Elementary School for two days over our Winter Break. In their Kindergarten, Natalie tutored children, helped the children write journals, and prepared papers for a future project. The head teacher wrote, “Natalie was capable, enthusiastic, and worked well with the children. I look forward to working with her again.” In a First Grade classroom, Natalie facilitated two book clubs and assisted students with their journals. The teacher wrote, “Natalie took the time to sit with individual students and helped to remind them of the reading and writing strategies while they completed the work. Natalie demonstrated compassion, dedication, and professionalism at her young age.” Well done, Natalie Fox!
