A Whale of a Project
November 4th, 2010
On Friday, October 29th, the Second Grade displayed their whale projects for the first annual Whale Science Fair. Families, friends, faculty, and students visited the theater to see the Second Graders’ hard work showcased. The children presented three fantastic whale facts about the specific whales that they researched. A wide variety of projects were constructed ranging from decorated shoe boxes, to large poster boards filled with information and pictures, to an actual sized narwhal’s tooth for everyone to touch and see. The Second Graders learned a lot about different types of whales and helped educate everyone who came to the Second Grade Whale Science Fair.
