Good Deed- Healthy Brains and Behavior

Leo Coltrane Kivell helped advance knowledge in the field of youth violence.  Over 12 weeks he was a human ‘guinea pig’ as researchers at Penn piloted the intervention portion of the Healthy Brains and Behavior Study, a study to identity and address some of the underlying causes of youth violence.  Leo made a valuable contribution  by providing feedback to scholars as they pretested their newly developed parent-youth intervention to improve stress coping skills .
