Good Deed: For the Birds

Ms. Leonard (Educational Services Director) and Ms. Lewin and her Kindergarten class collected a bucket full of yarn, paper, and string. Ms. Lewin’s mother visited her daughter’s class to lend a helping hand. On beautiful June day, they went outside and scattered these recycled materials in the St. Peter’s Church graveyard where there are many trees and birds. The Kindergarten children are hoping that the birds will find what they scattered and use the materials to build their nests.
